The Open School Doors project (financed by the Erasmus+ Programme of the EU) developed a teacher training scheme for more inclusive schools with special focus on how teacher should engage all parents for more inclusion, especially parents who are new to the country.
This attractive publication is a simple summary for parents on why and how they can and should be involved, and on what they can expect at a school that has subsribed to an open doors policy and trained their teachers in Open School Doors topics and ways. It can be distributed in a digital form, or printed and handed to parents.
It can also serve as a good source of information for those parent groups who seek more engagament in their children’s schools.
